I was born in Jacksonville in 1964. Jones College radio had just hit the air. Even though my roots run deep, my parents moved us to Colorado when I was ten. We came home to visit family when we could. I never thought I’d live here again. These days I cling to the familiar landmarks from childhood; many are buried deep within the city now. Being gone for 35 years did not erase this place from my heart. Jacksonville is my home…and it’s nice to be back.
